Yen-Lu Chow is an award-winning entrepreneur, technologist, author, and social innovator dedicated to mental well-being, mentoring, and sustainability. A former Apple Distinguished Technologist, he is the co-founder and executive chairman of WholeTree Limited and its mental wellness initiative Over-The-Rainbow (OTR), founding executive chairman of the Asia Institute of Mentoring (AIM), founding partner of Fatfish MediaLab, founding executive mentor of Young Sustainable Impact Southeast Asia (YSI SEA), and founder of the Deep Human Movement. With extensive experience in tech and entrepreneurship, he builds ecosystems and mobilizes communities to drive positive social change, devoting his time to serving the society and the nation in his capacities.

Through initiatives like Deep Human, Yen-Lu seeks to integrate ancient wisdom into modern life, promoting conscious consumption, collective consciousness, and harmony with the planet. Carrie Tan

Transformation Coach & Healer, Self-work Practitioner, Social Entrepreneur, Culture-builder and Member of Parliament

Carrie Tan is a transformation coach, healer, social entrepreneur, and Member of Parliament. She coaches executives, influencers, and change-makers, driving personal and organizational growth. As the founder of two Singapore-based non-profits, she has empowered underprivileged communities toward social mobility over the past seven years.

Asst Prof Cheung Hoi Shan

National Institute of Education, Nanyang Technological University

Dr. Cheung works at the National Institute of Education, Nanyang Technological University. She began her research in 2004 at Singapore Children’s Society, focusing on parenting and child development. Majoring in her Ph.D. in Developmental Psychology from NUS in 2014, she studied parental sensitivity and its impact on preschoolers’ peer relationships through attachment theory. She continued her research where she explored attachment theory in contexts like school bullying as a postdoctoral fellow at NUS and a visiting scholar at Purdue University. Currently, her research examines the role of parenting practices in Asia and how they influence and impact children’s self-regulation and well-being.

Aarathi Arumugam

COO @ EveryChild.Sg

Aarathi Arumugam is a trained accountant, an entrepreneur and a passionate community builder. Her career trajectory includes corporations, start-up organizations and raising a family. Aarathi left the corporate workspace in search of an environment that was inclusive, one that did not always put the onus on women asking to be given permission to be there, but rather help build environments where their right to be there was implicit. 

To this end, she puts her skills and experience gained to nurture and connect communities so that they may thrive. She is an active volunteer with AWARE, and currently serves as the President on the Board. Aarathi has assumed the role of COO for EveryChild.SG, an organization with no political affiliation, recommending changes to ensure a future ready education for every child.”

Ashokan Ramakrishnan

Honorary Secretary @ SPARK

Ashokan Ramakrishnan leads the Smart Metering business at iWOW, an IoT provider focused on reducing utility waste for businesses. Passionate about climate action, he serves on the Executive Committee of Mother Earth Toastmasters, helping eco-ambassadors enhance their communication skills.

He is also the Honorary Secretary of SPARK, supporting individuals with ADHD and their families, and the Honorary Treasurer of A GOOD SPACE, Singapore’s first cooperative for changemakers. Above all, Ashokan values his role as a parent, a journey of personal growth and discovery he cherishes deeply.

Dawn Fung

Founder @ Little U

Dawn Fung founded Little U. She was one of the key leaders in the Singapore homeschooling landscape in the early 2010s-2020s. She is the author of the book, Homeschooling in Singapore: An Education.

Her speciality is in designing personalised education for individuals and families. Dawn believes that education reform begins in the family. At Little U, she conceptualises with the team how to personalise care to educators and learners, and to bring out each individual’s potential. Her dream is to see every child, parent and educator having full rights and access to great education. Unique to Little U is also its approach in offering trauma-informed education alongside competency-based education to families and students.

Prior to being a homeschooler, Dawn taught O Level English, the IB MYP Personal Project, speech and drama. She was the head of English and Professional Development for the faculty at City College. The private college was well known for its social impact under the leadership of Kenny Low, a 2007 Schwab Social Entrepreneur of the Year awardee. (City College closed in 2023.) Little U is inspired by Kenny’s legacy, Vivian’s dream to create a school that everyone wants to attend, and the potential of the homeschooling community to develop great education in Singapore for all.


Dawn Fung is a consultant, speaker, writer and thought leader. She is well known for her sharp analysis in matters of alternative education in Singapore. Her opinion has been sought by leaders, educators, parents and content creators. She is also a core group member of EveryChild.sg, an advocacy group for children’s rights in Singapore.

Michelle Choy

Michelle Choy, a mother of six (ages 10–24), is an Occupational Therapist, Parent Coach, and International Certified Professional Trainer (IPMA, U.K.). Named one of Singapore’s 40-over-40 inspiring women in 2021, she advocates for a happy, stress-free childhood, steering clear of the academic rat race. As the founder of The Little Executive, she equips children with resilience and executive function skills. Recognized as one of Singapore’s top parenting experts, Michelle is a sought-after speaker on parenting and education.

Pamela See

Think Psychological Services | Think Kids

Pamela specialises in Educational and Developmental Psychology at Think Psychological Services with extensive experience supporting children with autism and learning difficulties in Australia and Singapore. Skilled in designing behavioural programs and administering various psychometric assessments, she works closely with schools, government agencies, and families to assess, support, and integrate children with special needs into mainstream education.

Pamela also provides counseling and intervention for issues like bullying, low self-esteem, anxiety, and depression, while conducting workshops for parents and teachers on managing developmental and learning challenges. She is frequently featured in Singapore media for her expertise in child development, education, and parenting.

Dr. Hana Alhadad

Dr. Hana Alhadad is a liberative parent of three and a passionate neurodiversity advocate, with over 20 years of experience in community development and drama therapy. Her commitment to supporting neurodivergent children and single mothers is shaped by her own journey as a single mother of three neurodivergent kids. This personal experience fuels her dedication to supporting and working with children and families from lesser-resourced backgrounds. Hana emphasizes conscious and respectful parenting while advocating for neuro-inclusive, trauma-informed practices. As a therapeutic playmaker, she creates safe and brave spaces for parents and children to explore, build and nurture compassionate relationships, empowering them to thrive on their unique journeys.

His work in parenting has been recognized by government agencies, and featured in The Business Times, The Strait Times, ChannelNewsAsia and National radios. With his latest venture Parendigm, he aspires to help parents confidently navigate their way to family success.

Karen Tok

Award-winning Entrepreneur, Mentor, Business Leader & Social Innovator

A highly dynamic individual and forward-thinking business leader, Karen was nominated for the Great Woman of Our Times Award 2018 by Woman’s Weekly Magazine and a recipient of the merit award for the Shell LiveWire Young Business Start-up Award 2005. Her entrepreneurial success story was featured in many media outlets including The Straits Times, Her World, Forward – Shell LiveWire’s book on entrepreneurship, 938Live Money FM 89.3, to name a few.

Karen is a visionary self-starter who attained outstanding entrepreneurial success despite being written off as an academic no-hoper with a learning disability.

She is inspired by opportunity, motivated by adversity and passionate about start-ups and helping others turn desperation into inspiration. She believes that with the right tools and right resources, anyone can achieve their life goals.

Sophia Klopp

Sophia Klopp is a mother of 3 children aged 18, 13, and 8. As a Certified Positive Discipline Parent Coach, Trauma-Informed Facilitator, and Co-Director of Chapter Zero Singapore, she is dedicated to empowering parents, caregivers, and educators to cultivate authentic connections with children. Sophia co-founded Positive Discipline Singapore and has led numerous workshops and webinars for diverse audiences. Her sessions provide evidence-based Positive Discipline strategies aimed at equipping children with crucial social and life skills. Additionally, she imparts techniques of Mindful Communication derived from Parent Effectiveness Training (PET) and Non-Violent Communication (NVC).

Talya Shelley

Minds In The Mountains Singapore

Talya has journeyed from silently bottling up her mental health struggles as a youth to becoming an advocate for mental health in Singapore through art. Once someone who concealed deep hurt and suicidal thoughts behind a mask of smiles, unable to express her emotions, she has transformed into someone who fosters meaningful conversations and teaches emotional literacy through the accessible medium of art.

She has contributed to discussions on mental health for CNA’s Forward Singapore, advocating for parental conferences that not only support youth but also equip parents with the tools to navigate the complexities of mental health. Talya has also shared her personal journey on The Smart Local and participated in panels across various platforms.

Currently, she runs Mind in the Mountains, an art brand with a mission to encourage creativity for mental wellness. Through her work, she empowers individuals to use art as a language for self-expression—the same medium that helped her open up and share her own story.

Tim Wong

EveryChild.sg

Tim Wong is a community enabler, and a parent-advocate for respectful parenting and special educational needs (SEN) education reform. He has worked with other parent-advocates to raise awareness of SEN challenges in mainstream schools to education officials and other parents. He is active in raising the need for respectful parenting through the Gentle Fathering SG platform on social media and in parent groups.

Vivian Kwek

Little U

Vivian Kwek, a mother of three, homeschooled her two older children from 2009 to 2022, adapting their education to their interests and future-ready skills. Her oldest was invited to attend NUS computer science courses at 13 and secured a programming job at 17, while her second child became a top athlete. Her youngest attends regular school, giving Vivian firsthand experience with the challenges of mainstream education. A strong advocate for building parent-child connections, Vivian believes that having a strong connection allows parents to communicate effectively with their children. Formerly a Mathematics teacher with the Ministry of Education, she also gained valuable experience in coordinating, running and faciliating leadership  training programmes during her later years working with various government agencies. She is also the author of Decoding Your Child and currently teaches Math privately. Vivian’s dream of creating an ideal school is embodied in her initiative, Little U.
