About This Workshop​​

No artistic experience or drawing skills required!

What You Will Need

  • Drawing Papers (enough for 4 exercises, any shapes or sizes)
  • Black Crayon & Toothpick/ object with sharp point for “scratching” (for scratch-art activity)
  • Drawing/ Colouring Materials (e.g. colour pencils, markers, crayons)
  • Coloured paper (Optional)
  • An Open Heart and Mind!
  • Access to Zoom
  • Working Webcam

About the Facilitator

Yeeling is our OTR Co-Founder, Professional Counsellor, Artist. Born and raised in Hong Kong, has been living in Singapore since 1996. She enjoys drawing and painting, through which her inner world can merge with the outer world using colours and shapes. They connect her with nature, and bring her freedom and inner peace. Yeeling held her first Singapore Solo Exhibition 2012 and has since participated in several group exhibitions.

Passionate to bring the creative arts and love to families and communities, she has conducted several Art Jam workshops to empower individuals to develop a positive sense of self thru’ self-acceptance, gratitude, and joy of life!

Open Canvas has been a key outreach workshop of OTR since 2010 and experienced by children, youth, adults and families at various communities, schools as well as at private events.
