About Corinne Gibbons
Music is Corinne’s first language! Corinne’s music connects her to people around the world and one of her true passions is people. “MELT” Corinne’s multimedia release, album and DVD, in partnership with National Geographic, is a genuine tribute to people, connection, nature and our planet, winning two major film awards in the USA and a Peace award in the UK. She is currently working on her 5th release. Corinne has been invited to sing with some of the world’s leading musicians during her career, to name a few: The Count Basie Big Band, members of the Ramsey Lewis Trio, Tower of Power, Dire Straits and collaborating with Phil Collins and The Little Dreams Foundation.
As an entrepreneur Corinne founded Discover Your Voice in 2007, a teambuilding company that supports corporations to sing together as a choir and to create songs of vision and values from both a personal and professional space. This innovative training has drawn the attention of businesses around the world, with groups of 10 to a 1000 people participating.
Singing Meditations for women is also part of Discover Your Voice and is committed to supporting and connecting women’s voices in nourishing circles of song globally.
Corinne also conducts music mentoring for children through Discover Your Voice Kids! At the core of this work is Corinne’s belief that “every voice matters, especially the inner voice. She is currently recording a meditation CD for children.
Corinne has called Singapore home for 11 years which has been a constant source of inspiration and collaboration. She is an advisory board member for Singapore Creations Etc., and is a much-lauded voice coach for many aspiring young singers and songwriters.
Corinne is a gifted singer whose breadth as a vocalist ranges from Jazz to Musical Theatre and her own soulful style. Jazz infused pop records have garnered Corinne rave reviews and have seen her tour the world for the past 20 years. Most recently she was invited by the United Nations to perform at a global event hosted in Hong Kong in June 2017.
